A quick update for you all:
As you can see, I’ve been able to get my hands on some much-needed red paint:
Which allowed me to dig in and get some painting done this week. There’s still a lot of touch-up work I need to do (you can see a few of the spots in the pics below), but I’m making progress on my Red Corsairs Typhon Siege Tank:
If I had it to do over again, I’d probably get paint on the tank before fully assembling it – it’s been tough getting in all the nooks and crannies. (That said, I do love putting together models and sometimes get carried away with it, so if I had it to do over again, I guess I’d probably do the exact same thing I did the first time…)
The plan for the upcoming week is to get all the last paint touch-ups done, get a couple of washes on the tank to make the details pop and dirty it up a bit, and get some metallic color and some texture on the treads.
The final week of September will see me attempting some freehand Chaos sigils on the vehicle, along with adding all the extra little bits and magnetized weapon sponsons.
Then it’s on to Dreadtober… (preview coming soon!)
Thanks for taking a look!
